As you can probably surmise from the episode title, this sounds like it could be the end for Kefla/Kale/Caulifla in the Tournament of Power! “Signs of a Comeback…”

DRAGON BALL SUPER EPISODE 116 TRAILER PROMO
So, as you know Goku gave everything he had against Jiren and ran out of energy. Then Goku himself said he will be gaining energy and strength back as he fights.
After getting challenged by Caulifla and Kale, Goku decided to complete his power recharging process with them. So, he didn’t let his team members interfere and stop the process.
Goku slowly started powering up, but as he went up to Super Saiyan God, Kale and Caulifla decided to fuse and become Kefla who is turning out to be a genuine threat.
DRAGON BALL SUPER EPISODE 116 SPOILERS
Other possibilities could include Kale and Caulifla defusing, after getting triggered and powering up too as mentioned in the preview.
Like, Vegito didn’t last long for too much power, but at this point, I think they should either remain or get eliminated.Because it’s kind of getting boring, we already had too many episodes on them, and I don’t see them having any significance if they defuse.
The Tournament is coming to real players, and I don’t think Kale and Caulifla could have any part in that individually.
